She sat on her bed

In silence and fear

For the pain of him leaving

Had left her alone there

He had torn her heart apart over again

And then left her there

With nothing to hold on to

But the thought that she wasn’t worth

Even being there

He hit her and degraded her

Knocking down the girl she was

His hatred controlled her and how she felt

Left her empty without even herself

So on the bed, she sat

Wanting to end the pain

So she

Cut open her vein
