she smiles


She smiles The worlds happy No tears, only rainbows Laughter fills her lungs and explodes into the room Her smile contagious It spreads like an infectious disease Deep down inside though, she’s breaking Her heart unfixable Bandages holding each piece together Behind her smile is a hurting heart “How” she asks “Can I be fixed?” How is not the question You don’t search for happiness Happiness finds you It will come Wait, be patient Soon enough, you will smile a real smile
