She Smiles


She's the girl next to you in class

Surrounded by friends and loved ones.

You could have never guessed. 

That she was part of the struggle.

It never occured to you that 

It can happen to anyone. 

She's not Emo or goth,

So there is no way she cuts.

         

         Her dad beats her

         Her mom is long gone

         She has no where to turn

         No way to cope.

         So she turns to the blood thirsty

          Blade that has never betrayed her

          But all you see from her 

          Is a smile
