She Told Me

My mother once told me that life was what you made it

Those words sank into my skin and made me

Life is beautiful she would whisper to me

Those words stuck with me

Sometimes the worst things that happen in our lives will lead us to our destiny

They will put us on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us

This life is what you make it

No matter what you are going to mess up sometimes

The best part is you get to decide how you’re going to mess it up

Life isn’t just what you see

But instead is more of how you see it

Life is what you make it

So make it beautiful
