She Walks,
She walks, shivering under the snow's falling, warming the bones up the best she can. But her body's lean and fragile, vulnerable, a target. Her body does it's best to defend against the winter's harsh chill, but its so difficult.
She walks, in solitude, black boots leave footprints in the snow. She turns around, those prints speak, whisper. She forwards, not to look of the pain she leaves behind. It hurts so.
She walks, eyes risen, twinkling of the sky entrances the soul. She hungers for relief, but questions it's existance. Raises arms, embraces painful cold, her only knowledge, her only option.
She walks, praying for freedom. The strings, she feels that bind her to this world, decend from the heavens. No control, no power, no will.
She walk, flames accend into the sky, dancing brightly paired. Envy overcomes, longing to burn, glorious scent polluting the air. Her desire grows, her will shows.
She walks, resists that which defy her her own. They stretch and break. Her arms flail by her own doing. For the first time she knows of will power. No more of others forcing their will over her's. She is free. She is her own person.
She walks, never to dare stare at the deadly puppet strings again. Leaving known past, but entering the questionable road ahead. The path...it widens...lengthens...never ending; horizon untouchable.
She walks, the moon lowers, it's glow blackens as the shadows rule. Buildings stand still, unshaken, solid. She stops, taken aback. Reflection in ice, her soul seeps into the reversed world maybe to find peace, something so scarce, is nonexistant.
She walks, her necklace eats away at her, against her cold pale skin. Thrown to the ground in triumph. Moving away, leaving her heart alone, cold as ice. She yearns to backtrack, but can't...won't. Their betrayal stings, their love cursed. Memories cloud the mind, vision disrupted.
She walks, desires to return fill her every being. Life as it once was. Together, as one, to be blood again. The snow stops, the freezing ends none. He mother’s necklace, covered in love... covered in denial... covered in shame. Resentment of her desicion, unforgiving of giving her own away, without a second thought.
She walks, in the lingering dead of night. Thoughts shroud reality. Companions, proteges, aquaintences, they're all the same. She stops, caught by the eye. A painting so divine, it would please God. A connection is felt. A need is made. Such perfection. She feels it: the past acheivable, able of reenactment, able of the ultimate redo. But no. Its not meant to be. Her fingers slide down, the glass fogged up. Her breath chill as frost. er head turns, can't stand to view the unobtainable, the untouchable, the intangible.
She walks, they left her to be. Her trust in them. Their betrayal. Realization: their friendship never was, never will be. Urges for truth, the the real, for humanity.
She walks, life shatters. She knows they have done this. She knows who to blame. Her eyes rise, moon gone. Engulfed by the darkness, by her home. They all have problems. She wonders if the world will better itself, if it will self correct. She wonders if the sure is out there. The germ, plague, roams still, infecting them all. Hatred too powerfull to beat. To sneaky to recognize.
She walks, the darkness overcome. The shadows bested. She turns. Her hands fall at side. Warmth is final. The sun peeks. Unfamiliar of it's power. She feels. Hands lay upon chest, nothing. Her eyes drop, her mother's necklace lays. Her soul reaches out but can't quite grab. She takes it and applies. He soul's other half finally reunited once again. Her heart beat is back. She feels whole. She feels complete. Her mind opens, her heart and soul whisper, listening. Towards the bright she goes. Inviting, mesmerizing. It comes upon her, relief. Its rays have erased the world's toll. She is clean, she is free. The darkness no longer holds. It's fingers slip. She is alive. She is human. She backtracks. The light holds her key. The past awaits. She knows its time. One she goes. She walks,
