She walks down the road ....
She walks down the road .....
Not with the Rihanna swag
Nor showing off her voluptuous curves
Only dressed in her simple blue clad
She walks down the road ....
Oblivious of the piercing stares
Focused on her soul desires
Hoping for a call so fierce
She walks down the road ....
They whistle at her moderate wag
Denim jeans with the latest bag
Not listening to their laden mistags
She walks down the road ....
Her heart weighed down with a burden
Heavy is her soul so fraught yet still brazen
Who will help her because she feels so shaken
She walks down the road ....
Believing that God will soon hear her cry
Amidst the deafening noise that makes her ask why
Knowing that her redemption will soon draw nigh
She walks down the road ....
