She Wolf

Hey,

I know you.

I’ve known you since you can remember.

We used to swing as high as we could with the other neighborhood kids.

But we didn’t jump from the swings when everyone else did.

We’re scared.

We want so much, and while our heart says “We can do it!”

Our mind reminds us of our incompetence, our fears, our flaws.

So why does our heart keep cheering us on?

We’re so torn between being elitist and wanting everyone in the world to thrive.

We’re so torn between wanting to fight and wanting to love.

Do you think we’ll ever be able to step on middle ground?

Is there such a thing as both?

I think it’s possible with us.

I think we need all sides of us.

Because a leader doesn’t just bark orders.

That’s a tyrant.

A winner doesn’t win for themselves.

That’s selfish.

But you,

You got a lil’ somethin’

You have fire in your soul.

Power in your voice.

Love in your heart.

You have the ambition.

The guts.

The world at your fingertips.

There is nothing in this world you can’t do.

I know this because I am you.

I type this

For you.

You’re welcome me.

Before I forget,

Some free advice.

Think of everything that you love and care for

And fight for it.
