Shears
Silver and chrome,
For you are mine that I own.
Shinny and new,
Oh, the things that I can do.
Crisp and precise,
You will be so enticed.
In my hands holds a key,
To everything that I can be.
Between my fingers lay,
Something so magnificent you'll pay.
With every strand that falls to the floor,
I'll be so tempted to cut more.
We are now one,
Something so precious it cannot be undone.
What would I ever do if I lost you?
Perhaps buy a new pair,
and continue on in despair.
