Sheer Hoplessness

There are days Where I beg for change Just one little, bitty change There are moments Where I pray for it to all stop Quickly, Suddenly It all hurts Every sudden movement Every sharp noise Every harsh word And I don't know how to make it all stop. Please make it go away… The problem, sadly and unfortunately, Is that this world is messy Is that this day is beautiful Is that girl is nice to me And I can't seem to get out bed Or even care that someone made an effort. How could God love me? How could the sun shine brighter? I'm walking in a fog, in a dream Without a hope, without a damn It's so cold, It's so hard Why can't there be a fairy Godmother to save me?
