Shelter

This shelter

Gloomy and dark

Dangerous and deep

Small and stark

Those who can't

Escape the cold

Come and stay here

As I've been told

We're welcomed inside

And we stay for a while

When we are lonely

With no one to dial

We come inside

To keep from the snow

But we only go here

If there's nowhere to go

I am cloaked in it

Unbeknownst to time

Lonely as days pass

But at least this place

Is mine
