Shepherd

Psalm 23:1-3

The Lord the Shepherd of His People

A Psalm of David.

23 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

Shepherd

The Shepherd’s watchful eye ... gazing over the flock

Protection guaranteed ... when close to the Leader

To be completely free ... to dwell in His Presence

Provided and secured ... nothing else now needed

Look at the lambs in the flock ... who raises them today?

Who is responsible ... to lead and protect?

Is it not the “mom” ... who makes all decisions?

Does not the lamb depend on natural grace in fact?

Raise the kids in church ... is a really good priority

Staying close to the Shepherd ... needs to be number one

Provide for them a home ... the basis for the true living

Remember all good things come from God before the day is done
