She's Gone

She wasn't who she used to be

The girl she used to be packed her bags

and moved out as fast as she could.

No one saw her leave.

Although it was suddden, it was anything but.

For so long, she threw the stress and sadness aside,

leaving it to build up the reasons for her to leave.

Now all that's left is a shell of a girl in a fishbowl,

watching her happier self laugh and smile with a smile oh so genuine,

as she was left to slowly drown and watch happiness leave her all at once,

and no one, not even herself, knew how to convince herself to come back inside

and save herself from her slow, constantly wavering tides of sadness.
