This girl is on fire,

making it through college on her own.

Despite having a blast, 

she is missing home. 

Fighting through early 8am classes,

she finally rests at midnight. 

Hating not having the proper rest, 

she knows she will be alright. 

She has been a hopeless romantic, 

waiting for the right guy to come her way.

But dealing with the wrong guy,

some reason she stays.

Trying to enjoy Summer '19, 

despite all her worries.

She thinks she will be okay,

and hopes the fall hurries.  

Ready to correct her mistakes,

to fix her bumpy road. 

She puts in work all summer, 

to ensure she is in her zone.
