She's Mine

Society wasn't ready for her light

Her dreams, ambitions, and goals would've been too great to handle

Everyone would've been proud of my baby girl

She would've been a fighter, never letting anyone tell her that she's less than amazing

My baby girl would've so beautiful

If I could've just held her, just once, maybe it wouldn't be so hard to accept that she's gone

No one around me understands my pain, not fully anyway

Each and every day she's on my mind

Whether she's here or not, she's mine.
