She's Safe

Losing hope,

It's hard to cope.

They've lost this battle,

And my mind is scattered.

I don't know what to do,

I'm as lonely as you.

My mom isn't right,

She can't win this fight,

And she knows it.

My patience is running thin,

For this situation so dire,

My heart is on fire.

I know she's safe,

In a better place,

Happy and healthy

With love, she's wealthy.

She's spirited and true,

And upon her wings, she flew.

She's in a better home,

Healthier, easier to condone.

My sister is safer now,

And I know how.

She's with someone who truly cares,

Someone who will always be there.

I've always loved writing. Its the only way I can get my point out in an understandable way.
