She’s like a masterpiece
She’s like a masterpiece you have to keep coming back to. She won’t become beautiful until you start seeing her that way, until you start working on her, she will never open up to you. You start chipping at her walls, slowly getting her to open up to you. You do the same process everyday and become her best friend, but you’ve only gotten through the first wall, so you keep going. And going... and going... and going... and going... and going... and then one day she leaves you. Picks up her walls and leaves, and all you have are your tools and the parts of her walls that you got down. So you search for her, while searching for yourself. You start to realise she got scared a long the way with you breaking walls, and rebuilding her back up more beautiful than before all you wanted was for her to see herself the way you saw her. She thought that just because a prettier piece came into your life that you would stop working on her. But you promised her, from the very beginning, that you’d never stop working on her. That you would never stop trying to get her to see the masterpiece she was. Clearly she couldn’t see what you saw, and you convinced her to come back to you. To let you work on her a little more. And she did. Because even if she did decide to leave you again, her walls and all, you would never stop chipping away at her. You could never walk away from something that wasn’t finished. You could never give up on something that was so close to being done. You could never walk away from the one thing that made you want to be more.
