Shhh...

Shhh...

Do you hear that?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

No talking, no music, no anything.

It is quiet.

I can't live without peace and quiet.

The world is just so loud

Too many people

Too much technology

Not enough time

For everything to be silent.

I can thing when it's quiet.

No distractions

Just me, myself, and I

As if the world population is one.

It lets me escape

From all my fear

All my stress and anxiety,

Everything that makes me sad.

I need quietness to be happy,

To allow myself to think about me

Without the distraction of noise.

It lets me think about the world

All the problems in it,

Everything that I wish did not exist.

Maybe if everyone had quietness

The world would be a better place

Full of happy and inspiring people

Fearlessly living their lives.

I look forward to my quiet time

When I don't have to listen to the noises of life.

I just sit and think,

Breathing in the air,

Observing Earth in its purest form.

Shhh...

Do you hear that?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Shhh...
