A Shift in the Wind

My love for you is like a cool breeze on a hot day The Gentle wind caressing my face This feeling is bound never will it stray A feeling so rare, so full of grace The depth both strong and Precious A passion therefore deep So bottomless, it leaves me breathless A love like this does not come cheap My strongest fear has come to pass Like the changing of seasons, your love has shift Once in the future, now in the past This love for you now carries a rift A calming breeze I once adore Is now lost in heat and for never more
