Shine

This shine inside I do not doubt

Comes from within not from without.

It's deeper than you might believe,

Reaching out, trying to achieve

In making a change to the world around,

Filling it with a cheery, helpful sound

Of just one person, doing one thing,

Which leads to another, louder ping.

Until at once a joyus sound,

Making a difference for all around;

With only myself, my thoughts, my dreams,

My mind to guide, my soul to beam

Proud and bright as light should be,

I find the only thing stopping it

is me.
