Shining in the Darkness

Shining in the darkness A sea of golden stars Twinkling at me every night. The peace of the silence lulls me to sleep The shimmering beckoning me To a land of dreams and adventure. Tucked away in the folds of a blanket I lay dreaming of this golden sea Remembering its lasting beauty Shining in the darkness.
