A shiver and a shake

A shiver and a shake
my body it aches

the feeling I cant shake

while inside I break

and its a little too late

I swim for that surface but I'm too fake

so I drown in the lake

of lies that I make

while I let go

and they take control

of everything that makes me whole

and where do I wind up?

Nobody knows

and everyone else just drolls

so I go home and remember the aching

of the scars I could be making

because I am breaking

I wrote this one a while ago but I liked it and wanted some constructive criticism on how to make it better, Thank you.
