Shiver Light
There is oft' a shadow that is not seen
That spreads through all there has ever been.
It spreads and seeks for softer hearts,
And from there unfailing starts
To turn them to stone, to stone and ice.
Far from any hidden vice
It's surely there. Though it hides from sight
It brings to all the most crawling fright.
So listen well, O' meek and low of heart.
In order to fend this Shadow's darts,
Don upon your soul each day
Your Father's armor, that ye may slay
That fallen serpent and his demon's fane.
Then as deed is done thy heart aflame,
Your life shall soon be blessed anew
And your joys numbered as the morning dew.
