Shivers
In my spine they traverse.
My throat clogged.
No contact with anyone,
Only a bitter melancholy.
My feet grow cold,
Shivers dance in my forearms.
Retribution and Salvation,
Pure Solitude.
Now alone with one who holds his tongue,
True Solitude, but no friendship,
His own kin destroying his soul,
Leaving only the shivers to accompany him.
