Shoes

The ones that dance The ones that flash The ones that let you push past The ones that crash Through the pain You cannot let the memories die. The ones that walk The ones that run The ones that let you fly away The ones that stun Those who see you go by You see how they change you. The ones that coast The ones that slide The ones that push off the edge The ones that glide Across the ring You let them change your performance. The ones that jump The ones that bound The ones that fling you past The ones that sound Off the concrete You make them become part of you.
