Shoes and Ties

I spend my time biding by,

tie my shoes, adjust my tie,

i walk this square,

all life seems fair

a vision did i see,

a vision of what I used to be

how will i know i chose right?

no risk taken, no ventured plight.

just this quaint and boring life.

but what if i chose to live

a childish passion deemed unfit,

all my heart i had to give

until my elders mocked my wit

so here i am biding by,

i adjust my shoes

adjust my tie.
