Shooting Stars beckon

Lovely lips whisper,
where wonders silently wish,
to be free once more.

These cold tears trace dirtied skin,
leaving trails of pure pain towards the ground.
Radiating through my body in crescendos,
I love you, the words rolls from my tongue.
I never knew I would become trapped,
in this unforgiving spiral of dreaded romance.
Now I can only fall deeper into this hole I've dug,
somehow I don't seem to mind, even as you walk away,
but sometimes the sky beckons me to be free once again.
