On the Shores

On the shores of here and gone,

a never ending line

sunlight shining off her hair

and dancing off her eyes.

Palm trees sway in seafoam green,

warm sand beneath our feet

sunset falling off the Earth;

an ocean full of peace.

Castanets beneath soft waves

that glisten as they flow

Magic lying beneath the blue;

a future never known.
