of shores and cliffs and sunrises
i love you.
i've been looking for a way to say it,
but i think it's better off
to say it this way
i love you
i love every bit of you
your mind and your heart
your eyes and your laugh
everything i know
and everything that i don't
everything i'm yet to know
it all adds up to you
i'd cross the oceans for you
all of the shores and cliffs and sunrises
every ebbing tide
i'd do it all for you
you make everything seem new
and i know that it's cheesy
but i just wish that i knew
how you do it all so well
i tried to deny it
but now i know for sure
no matter what happens
it'll always be you.
and i hope you know
that no matter what
above everything else
i'll always love you.
i love you.
i've been looking for a way to say it
but now i know
it's always been you.
