Short Life

Short Life

Life may end in just a moment,

But in this short life that we may have,

 What joys may come,

The joys that only lasts for a short moment.

Life is fast and goes like the winter turning into spring,

At first it’s cold and it hurts,

But then life comes back to the world,

And the cold does not hurt so much.

Though the cold may not be in the air,

The cold will always stay in our hearts,

Like an icy blast every time we think about it,

But the pain will go away after a little while.

Joy will come in the morning

When the cold has left the air,

And warmth has come to bring life to the world once again,

After the hardest winter of all.

Many may see the light and warmth after a short time,

But some will not have the warmth form the light that comes after the cold,

Until the memory of the cold has gone from them,

And lets the light, warm them from the inside out.
