A Short Ode

Many a line of prose or verse I have composed of you And greatfully I think on those you've polished at my call Written at my whim and how easy a model for such endevores you have been Being gentle and keen as you are mysterious and lucid Fearfully and wonderfully made indeed. Though you lack the tone And euphony of angels, to hear the notes of your lungs if to be near the sky So then remember whom you shall fear and who is your salvation And give His word away as easily as you laugh For a powerful man is being made where the kind one now sits And days and years may soon reveal the bonding of these traits Soon my lines will run their course and so a parting word Just know there is a part of me that is forever yours
