Shortcoming

Ephesians 5:6

Let nobody deceive you with empty words,

for because of these things God’s wrath comes on the sons of disobedience.

Fake

Umbrella for the rain ... parasol for the sun

Always cover up the deeds you have done

Whispers in the air to soothe your conscience

To feel at home in your artificial obedience

Light and darkness hand in hand ... forms appearing real

Human beings in one land ... fogged up in the clear

Compromise ruling strong the only way to be

Fooling oneself in loneliness thinking this is free
