A shot

One shot of whiskey Another sip of gin Another drop of poison that's slowly sinking in Just to get through the day Cause there has to be a reason A reason that I'm here on earth But the change in the seasons never change my hurt. Walking down the burial ground With a sad song in my heart. There has to be a reason for the dust and the dirt, So what's it worth whats it worth. Just sitting here in my nonexistant self worth. So with another shot of whiskey And another sip of gin Another drop of poison slowly sinking in Just to get through the day Cause the change if the the seasons does nothing for the pain.

This poem makes me think about a person who is very confused on his reason to be on earth. It's also makes me think about a person damaging theirselves because they're very confused
