I met someone new yesterday

and the first person I wante to tell was you,

because I thought you would be happy for me.

I jokingly told you I had met my soulmate

and you said "that's me."

I was being sarcastic,

but what you said was unecessary

because you already found someone.

And I'm happy for you,

at least I try to be

but when you say shit like that it really upsets me

beacause it should have been you.

I was hoping it'd be you.

All the fucking way.

But it still isn't you, 

and I'm running out of hope.
