Should I Wait?

Should I wait,

anticipate your presence?

Let your words guide my eyes,

to the things I can't see.

Help me see.

I can wait.

I will wait on you.

Still I wait.

Morning has come,

and I am alone.

Should I wait one more night?

I can wait.

I will wait on you.

Still I wait.

Night has come.

I am cold and heartbroken.

Should I wait? One more time?

Should I breathe your breath?

Should I be so patient?
