A shout out to God

I remember those last words she said to me, "I love you"

an unoriginal expression of love, but it means the entire world to me

she was my guardian,

my protector,

my friend,

my mother.

and she was taken away  from me at the age of twelve

People say you die because God needs that person up in heaven with Him.

If that is so then she must really be needed up there,

because she was taken from someone who needs her very much.

I do not blame God for her departure.

I just wish she wasn't needed so soon.

Music is life

I am a senior in high school. If you couldn't tell by my username I love music! It inspires me in so many different ways and it is what also inspires me to write poetry. I am just an amateur poet but I hope to gain experience and some good advice by posting my work on this site... Enjoy :)
