shout-out to the World

The Earth sits, hanging in space,

Two worlds splits it,

One in light, the Greatest, the Best!

One in dark, "We'll help it up!"

I make a tag, and it's answered with a "lol!"

I post a blog, and theviewers spread "hate"

"hate", a noun? "lol", a word?

The World suddenly raced to make new words,

The World suddenly shut out the Other World,

The Third World.

The Third World - it lies forgotten,

Under a mound of "hippie trash".

The Third World - it tries to crawl up the same ladder,

But the world takes away the same ladder,

Gives it another ladder,

A shorter ladder.

"Here," the World says, "Donate your money and help the needy - I did!"

"I did!"

"I did!"

The World shuts me out - I am lost.

The world is no World, with no text-posts or blogs or inter-web,

or tweets and likings and "friends".

I have no World.

All because I was late in the World's ascension.

I am the next world?

A world of decline, a world of war, a world of hunger, a world of savages?

The Earth sits, hanging in space,

Two worlds splits it,

One in light, the Greatest, the Best!

One in dark, always in dark.

Hey, I'm seventeen, and many of those years have been spent devouring Italian mint chocolate chip ice-cream. I love Italian mint chocolate-chip ice-cream. You should really know that: that I LOVE ITALIAN MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP ICE-CREAM (okay, I think you get the picture now, huh?).
