Shovel
You have a shovel what are you going to do; dig a little deeper or bury something from your past? I honestly don’t know what I’d do because there are things I would love to forget, all the heart breaks I’ve went through and all of the times I’ve felt like a disappointment just because of a bad grade. But then I know I could dig a little deeper to find out who I really am, to prove to the world that I can make it through anything and that no one will stand in my way. I hold this shovel every day of my life and realize that I am going to make the decision many times.Everyday I choose to dig a little deeper because my past has made me into the person I am today, I tell myself to be proud of who I am and that it’s okay to be different.Every heartbreak I’ve went through, every bad grade I’ve got, and every bad thing that has been said about me , makes me hold my head a little higher because In the end I’ve realized a thing or two like to not trust a guy like him again, to not date someone who doesn’t make you feel confident and in love with yourself, that you have to make mistakes in order to learn, and to not listen to the girls who keep spreading rumors to try and get me down. Everyday I know that by picking up the shovel and digging deeper I know that I’m going to be a happier and improved me, and that no matter how much I just want to pick up that shovel and bury something from my past. I realize that I am strong.
