Show Yourself
Who are you?
You change with the seasons
Hiding from the rays of the sun
shivering in the snow
visible- you are not
Yet, I see you
I know you
at least - I think I do
I have been here from the beginning
I have seen the joyous expressions
For I made them
I have seen the frowns that bring streams of salty drops
For I made them
I am conflicted constantly
You are here, but at as swift as light you flee
on the sea of emotion
I am drowned and rescued
You make me question my being
Question you
Question us
Who are you really?
Do I even want to know?
Maybe it is best this way
or is this possibly eating us away?
May I see you?
I am you, let us come together
Let us expose our truth
why hide any longer?
