In the Shower, During the Fire

This is the way a rain dance works:

You and the thirsty go out and shake it.

Every. Day.

Until the water comes.

You don’t move to make the moisture.

You dance as if you have control.

And when it pours,

You take the credit.

How loving of the shamans

To keep up busy

In hopeless times

With dancing.
