Shower Wall

Your mind moves too many miles per hour

Your body's stuck

Staring at the wall of the shower

Try to breath, but the air tastes sour

Outside it's quiet

Here it gets louder

Tears are like gunpowder

but they're harmless here

Staring at the wall of the shower

It burns and it bubbles

You fight it away

But the curtain takes your weapons at the gate

so here you stay

No one to hear the words you say

Left with no power

Staring at the wall of the shower

Im a 16 year old girl who's really not good at anything, but I want to learn to express ideas in the way I've seen in poetry, so lets give this a try!
