The Shroud

Location

Technology

It surrounds

Envelops

Consumes;

Our everyday lives

We live in a word connected by technology

The aspect of reality blurs

With the aspect of the virtual reality

We become more involved

More integrated

More robotic

The word turns from a lush green planet

To a

Dark

And grey world

Made of cold iron and forged steal

We lock ourselves away

Never to see a real tree, breathe fresh air

Or meet the one we love

If we take away the vale of our present

And move ourselves to a better tomorrow

With green hills, and worm breezes

The picturesque view of serenity

Then and only then can we be

Happy
