Shroud of Darkness
Enveloped by Darkness
Darkness engulfs me.
Nowhere to run, why do I hide?
Hide from He who convicts me...
No clear hope, my soul is purged of it,
yet a flicker shone through...
A small flame from He
who purges the Darkness.
He embraces my lost soul;
the heavens rejoice;
My soul is cleansed,
purged of the Dark One's evil,
for the Dark One flees from Him.
Hope is restored, a new life awakens.
Darkness exists, yet is crushed by Him.
Tribulation befalls me, yet I care not...
What does it matter? He is there
to purge the Darkness from my soul.
