The Shy Ones.

I sit in the very back of the room hoping you dont call my name.

When you do, and I cant answer, you say I'm the one to blame.

But you're the type of teacher that I cant come up to.

Cause you'll answer with a remark like, "It's as easy as 2+2"!

You don't do this to everybody. just the ones like me.

We're shy, content, and actually quite bright.

But since we don't get perfect scores, inferior is what you think we'll ever be.

We'll im here to say that we are not!

and I'll put that teacher right on the spot.

Shame on you for blaming me.

One day, I'll do something great, just wait, you'll see.
