Shy People Miss Out

When I was a child,

I could not see,

standing back,

only hurt me.

My mom always said

do not  be shy,

Stand up tall,

my butterfly!

Sometimes it was scary

I will not lie,

Speaking out,

Do not cry!

I’ve many ideas,

they should be heard,

go be brave,

my little bird!

Mom was so right,

shy people miss out!

Stand up tall,

To the world shout!
