Shyness

Trees blowing in the wind

Grass swaying with the breeze

Now the wounds begin to mend

The pain begins to ease

I thought the pain would last forevermore

The pain of never being seen

Oh how my heart was sore

Oh how life can be so mean

When you’re shy you are invisible

People only make you cry

Your life is so miserable

Sometimes you want to die

I know these feelings well

In the past I was unknown

Now my heart can sail

I am no longer alone

I am liked and I am noticed

I can hold my head up high

My friends are the greatest

This is no lie
