Si' Without Filters

Filters make this generation go round'

From Twitter to Instagram

There's no pictures or snapchats without filters

How does that even sound?

To me, in all honesty, like life.

It's hard to be truthful and honest about vulnerability let alone love in 2015.

But no worries there's still some people who see the bigger picture, like me.

I'm a growing young girl who still doesn't have it all figured out yet.

18 & No idea what's the next big move, no final college decision set.

Heartbreak and hard lessons are all apart of life.

My life to be direct

If it was my choice, people wouldn't have the option to pick me apart or browse through IG

pictures to select.

I give off to be this hard unbothered person when in reality it's the complete opposite.

Words do hurt me and they do kill.

I'm a teenage girl, yes strong but I do hurt still.

Behind all the make up and " Women Crush Wednesday " posts

There's an intelligent girl, who sees a bright future

Celebrating her college graduation with a champagne toast.

Some days I don't want to do my hair or get dressed up to impress me peers

I'm scared of change

But I know it's the golden rule to attack your fears.

There's days when I cry and I can't stop

I enjoy the summer with my friends

Shorts, flip flops & crop tops.

My education means EVERYTHING to me regardless of my struggles

I plan to become a powerful lawyer, managing many clients

Im sure I cam juggle.

Yeah so maybe one eye is bigger than the other

I have two siblings, amazing older brothers.

My mom is my backbone and it's been that way since the beginning.

She attended and stayed at almost all of my field hockey games even if we weren't winning.

I have a short temper and it scares me sometimes

I would never deny it plus my mother didn't teach me to lie.

I see the best in everyone even though they probably did me wrong

July by Jhene Aiko is without question my favorite song

I could go on & on about the parts of Sienna

But that'd take years

There's things to accomplish, money to make...I have an agenda.

So despite my flaws that filters cover up

I get through everything, with or without "luck".
