Sick

It was a nail
A thin gray plain looking nail
Stuck right into The side of my skull
I noticed it one morning Brushing my teeth
 Every morning I’d wake up
To the sight of it It gave me headaches And sadness During the long winters As if someone had hammered All of their pain Straight into my head And it took the form Of this nail I began to think It was yours
