Sicker
They ask why I wear so many bandages.
I have one on my hand, one on each foot, one on my nose and forehead, and one over my heart.
They ask why I drink cough syrup when I don't have a cough.
Why do I take NyQuil when I don't have a cold?
Why do I take my temperature when I don't feel hot?
They ask why I wear torn band tees.
They think their music is unacceptable.
To me, their music is a survival guide.
They ask so many questions, but never listen to the answers.
If they all stopped asking, maybe they'd realize we're all Sicker than we really thought.
