Sickness

Psalm 103:1-3            New English Translation

Psalm 103      by David.

103 Praise the Lord, O my soul. With all that is within me, praise his holy name.

2 Praise the Lord, O my soul. Do not forget all his kind deeds.

3 He is the one who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases,

4 who delivers your life from the Pit, who crowns you with his loyal love and compassion,

5 who satisfies your life with good things, so your youth is renewed like an eagle’s.

Sin does not produce fruits of Holiness, sickness however does

Or at least it brings us closer to the position of “our” Maker

Even if we don’t recognize Him, sickness can be a plus

If we accept it in peace and reason why He gave it to us

When sick first deal with the Lord and when sickness prevails

Search for the understanding of what God tries to accomplish

There is always a good reason even possible for your surrounding

To show how much you trust in a way that can't be diminished
