Side-Walks-Homes

Skipping down the sidewalks

You turn, then turn again

First a right

Then a left

Who knows where you’ll go next

As it starts to storm

Look down past your wet feet

Then you slip and fall and hit your knee

To the gloomy sidewalk below you

You cry and only one person can help you

You know where you’ll to go to next

First a left

Then a right

You turn, then turn again

Till the sidewalk leads you back

Leading you to the loving person

You call your mother

Seeing her waiting you run even faster

She calls you brave as

You call her your hero
